Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Execute Distributor Sales plans to drive increased business planning and execution
  • Manage the execution of the PRM Channel program with exclusive distributor partners
  • Collaboratively partner across other Socomec sales entities to improve channel selling and position with other sales pipes and teams
  • Lead the business planning and customer targeting plans by engaging sales resources to execute on agreed upon customer targets and follow-up activities
  • Submits accurate and timely reporting to channel partners and Socomec management that are aligned with assigned sales quotas and performance plan
  • Assists with classroom training followed by on the job learning of distributor sales representatives regarding Socomec  offers and capabilities
  • Develop new and Grow and maintain existing channel partner and customer relationships in the territory by utilizing question based selling methods to ascertain customer’s needs
  • Develops/assists with marketing related events, seminars, mailings and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market
  • Promote and drive partner programs, initiatives, events and promotional resources with those assigned Distributors
  • Effectively communicates and presents the Socomec value proposition to all executive levels of an organization



  • Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering
  • 3-7 years professional sales experience in Electrical Distribution or indirect Channel Partner Buzz.
  • Experience in Solution Selling techniques with an emphasis on strong account and territory management
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision
  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
